Article 18. Participation and Assumption of Risk

1. The Participant acknowledges that participating in a packrafting activity involves risks, including but not limited to:
a. drowning, injuries due to water currents or obstacles;
b. musculoskeletal injuries from physical exertion or accidents;
c. hypothermia, exposure, and other weather-related risks;
d. other risks specific to the natural environment and conditions of the activity.

2. The Participant declares to be physically and mentally fit to participate in the activity and acknowledges that it is their own responsibility to be in suitable physical condition.
3. The Participant acknowledges these risks and voluntarily chooses to participate entirely at their own risk.

Article 19. Waiver of Liability

1. The Participant waives all liability of Packraft Travel, its employees, instructors, guides, and agents for any damage, injury, loss, or death, unless such damage is the direct result of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the organization.
2. Packraft Travel does not provide personal accident or travel insurance for Participants. It is the Participant’s responsibility to arrange appropriate insurance coverage.

Article 20. Safety Instructions and Code of Conduct

1. The Participant agrees to follow all safety instructions and behavioral guidelines provided by Packraft Travel.
Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the activity without the right to a refund.
2. If a Participant endangers themselves or others by failing to follow instructions, Packraft Travel reserves the right to take appropriate measures.

Article 21. Medical Fitness and Duty to Inform

1. The Participant declares that they do not have any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or limitations that could adversely affect their participation in the activity. If such conditions exist, the Participant has disclosed them in writing to Packraft Travel prior to the activity.
2. The Participant confirms that they are not using any medication that could impair their reaction time or physical performance without having disclosed this.
3. Packraft Travel cannot be held liable for any consequences resulting from the withholding of such information.
