What is packrafting?

These versatile rafts are specifically designed to be carried to remote waterways, allowing adventurers to explore pristine rivers and lakes. Think of the serene waters of the Eifel in Germany, the enchanting rivers of the Müllerthal in Luxembourg, and the challenging rapids of the Lechtal in Austria.
Bikeraften is an adventure activity that combines mountain biking and rafting. While biking, you carry your packraft backpack with you and go straight through breathtaking forests and landscapes. Once you reach the water, you inflate the packraft to continue the journey of discovery across the water. This unique combination makes it an exciting expedition that combines terrain changes and water adventure. Packrafts typically weigh between 1 kg and 6 kg, depending on the model and intended use conditions. Lightweight models for calm water weigh around 1-2 kg, while more rugged models for whitewater can weigh just over 3 kg.
