Packraft Travel is accredited to train Dutch vocational students through internships and work-study programmes. You learn the trade in practice: joining trips, handling guest communication, planning and logistics. No office work, just being part of the operation.

In the period from 18 April to 31 October 2026, we are looking for packraft instructors.
About Packraft Travel
At Packraft Travel, you book a multi-day packraft/bikeraft adventure. You discover nature at its purest by hiking, biking and paddling in the middle of the wilderness with a packraft. Participants follow the trail independently and spend the night at basecamp in a Basic tent, Glamping tent or their own tent.
What will you do?
As an packraft instructor, you are the face of Packraft Travel for all new participants. You welcome everyone with a smile at basecamp, give clear instructions through a briefing and are always ready to answer questions. You also provide a fresh breakfast buffet, prepare the food packs and make sure packrafts, paddles, rucksacks and other accessories are neatly laid out before the briefing. You will also be responsible for maintaining a neat and organised basecamp and cleaning the tents after guests leave. There will also be a second instructor on site with whom you will work and alternate tasks.

- Handing out packraft equipment
- Briefing with explanation about packrafting and the route
- Standing by all day for questions from participants
- Making sure guests stay safely and pleasantly
- Keeping basecamp/tents clean and organised
- Logistics and purchasing support
Who are we looking for?
Our company is growing and we are looking for people who want to grow with us. If you recognise yourself in the following characteristics, then we are looking for you!
- Independent and enterprising
- Social and hospitable
- Problem-solving and creative
- A lover of nature and outdoor activities
- Dutch and English speaking. German and/or French are an advantage
- In possession of a driving licence B
- Not required but a plus: first-aid certificate, experience in guiding groups and experience with packrafting/hiking.
Period
18 April to 7 October 2025. If you are still available for work after this period, we would be happy to look at the possibilities with you!
Accommodation
We will provide you with accommodation at the campsite for the entire period.
Number of hours per week
32-40 hours per week.
